ASWIFTT Writer’s Guild Founders, Brenda Johnson Padgitt, Eunice Bridges and Glenda Fields and will celebrate their 5th Anniversary in business on June 30, 2015. They will commemorate their milestone with their co-authored book “What About Our Children?” to be released on June 15, 2015. The book is a special publication that is dear to each author and founder. It takes a look at the various issues children and teens face while growing up. The content in the book tackles subjects such as bullying, child abuse, sibling rivalry, children of divorce, teen pregnancies, sexually transmitted diseases, foster care, orphans, teen violence and more. Brenda, Eunice and Glenda also direct parents, guardians and caregivers to resources and organizations that can help them. This book was written to encourage readers to get involved and become strong advocates for children because “It Takes A Village To Raise A Child.”

ASWIFTT PUBLISHING, LLC will host its own Literary Segment in 2015 on the Radio Show “In The Author’s Corner With Etienne.” Brenda Johnson Padgitt of ASWIFTT PUBLISHING, LLC has teamed up with Radio Talk Show Host Etienne Gibbs of “In The Author’s Corner With Etienne” to discuss Literary, Visual and Performing Arts topics, highlight featured authors, give literary tools and advice, and allow listerners to call in and ask questions.
The ASWIFTT PUBLISHING Literary Segment will air on the 2nd and 3rd Saturdays of each month at 3 p.m CST, 4 p.m. EST, 1 p.m PST, and 5 p.m. AST. The Young Scholar’s Workbook: Book I Vol. II To Be Released 12-20-2014

TYSW Book I Vol. II is a fundraiser workbook. 50% of the proceeds go to The Young Scholar’s Book Club to keep tutoring and mentoring services FREE to students. The Workbook covers Reading Comprehension and introduces interesting and unique stories for kids to read. The books required for the reading activities in The Young Scholar’s Workbook Book I Vol. II can be purchased or checked out at the library. ASWIFTT Author Eunice Bridges “A Child’s Laughter” is based on a story of a young couple trying to live life without direction. Geneva finds herself as a single mom, facing court drama because of the neglect of her child. J.D. finds himself waltzing in and out of Geneva’s life until he realizes that change is necessary in order to build trust. By coming together in forgiveness Geneva and J.D. are able to work together in order to gain their child back. Geneva holds on to her dreams. Faith causes J.D. to see that Geneva had chosen to change the direction of her life so she could hear once again the laughter of her child.
ASWIFTT Author Brenda Johnson Padgitt’s “My Baby Sister” is a children’s fiction book about Danielle who learns that being a big sister can be really cool. When she was 5 years old her mother announced that a baby sister or brother was on the way. Danielle’s mother was pregnant with her baby sister. Danielle was excited at first until all the attention went on Kayla. As Kayla began to crawl and then walk Danielle did not like the hitting, biting and kicking that Kayla did to her. Danielle finally learned how to turn the sibling rivalry around. “How Did I Get Into This Mess?, You Compromised, Saith the Lord” by Brenda Johnson Padgitt is also available at the Dallas Public Library. Many Christians do not realize how dangerous it is when they compromise the word of God. This is especially true when we decide to live a lifestyle of compromise. God has provided a way for us to live in the Holy Bible. He wants us to have life and have it more abundantly. (John 10:10) When we compromise it detours us off the path God has ordained for us. In “How Did I Get Into This Mess?, “You Compromised Saith the Lord” you will read how and why we compromise the word of God. Brenda Johnson Padgitt provides encouragement and walks you through steps to get back on track with your Destiny.
