Members READS To KIDS” in 2014 at Pat’s Learning Academy, the ASWIFTT Performing Arts AWARD for her participation as a vocalist in the All City Choir for her school district.  She recently won a silver medal for her participation in the Irma P. Hall Theatre Arts Festival.

The 2015 ASWIFTT Literary Visual & Performing Arts Awards

Golden Globe Award by Danilo RizzutiJoin ASWIFTT RADIO Host, Brenda Johnson Padgitt along with her co-hosts Glenda Fields and Eunice Bridges on January 31, 2015 at 5 pm CST, 6 pm EST, 3 pm PST and 7 pm AST, as they host The 2015 ASWIFTT Literary, Visual & Performing Arts Awards.  This will be ASWIFTT’s 1st annual awards ceremony for ASWIFTT Writer’s Guild members and ASWIFTT PUBLISHING, LLC authors.  The awards recognition platform seeks to recognize and appreciate its members for their works, publications, community involvement and contributions in the Literary, Visual, & Performing Arts.  ASWIFTT Award categories range from Education, Global Outreach,Transitional Figure & More.

Winners will have the opportunity to call in to give a 2 minute acceptance speech. They will also receive their awards and prizes in the mail.

The Young Scholar’s Workbook: Book I Vol. II To Be Released 12-20-2014

TYSWBIVII FRT CVRASWIFTT PUBLISHING, LLC to release The Young Scholar’s Workbook: Book I Vol. II by Brenda Johnson Padgitt on December 20, 2014. TYSW Book I Vol. II is a fundraiser workbook.  50% of the proceeds go to The Young Scholar’s Book Club to keep tutoring and mentoring services FREE to students. The Workbook covers Reading Comprehension and introduces interesting and unique stories for kids to read.  The books required for the reading activities in The Young Scholar’s Workbook Book I Vol. II can be purchased or checked out at the library. The workbook reading activities are for Pre-K to 4th grade.

Silent Cry FRONTCOVER BThe Dallas Public Library has added new ASWIFTT PUBLISHING, LLC Books to their book shelf.  You can now check out “Silent Cry” by Eunice Bridges.  Silent Cry is a fiction story about a young girl named Becky who is deaf and a victim of domestic violence. Becky, not her real name, represents male and female people who develop the merry-go-round syndrome of life. Becky finds herself repeatedly accepting physical, mental and verbal abuse when life holds so much more meaning. Why do people adapt themselves to repeatedly ride the merry-go-round abuse of any kind? FEAR! Fear is a way of tormenting us into staying in a locked down prison cell in a relationship. News Flash! There is a way of escape; you just have to be strong enough to walk through the opened door. Unreported domestic violence becomes a silent killer when the victim fails to reach out for help. It is also a family tragedy when both victim and perpetrator go without help and professional counseling.

ASWIFTT Author Eunice Bridges “A Child’s Laughter” is based on a story of a young couple trying to live life without direction. Geneva finds herself as a single mom, facing court drama because of the neglect of her child. J.D. finds himself waltzing in and out of Geneva’s life until he realizes that change is necessary in order to build trust. By coming together in forgiveness Geneva and J.D. are able to work together in order to gain their child back. Geneva holds on to her dreams. Faith causes J.D. to see that Geneva had chosen to change the direction of her life so she could hear once again the laughter of her child.

When she was 5 years old her mother announced that a baby sister or brother was on the way. Danielle’s mother was pregnant with her baby sister. Danielle was excited at first until all the attention went on Kayla. As Kayla began to crawl and then walk Danielle did not like the hitting, biting and kicking that Kayla did to her. Danielle finally learned how to turn the sibling rivalry around. “How Did I Get Into This Mess?, You Compromised, Saith the Lord” by Brenda Johnson Padgitt is also available at the Dallas Public Library.  Many Christians do not realize how dangerous it is when they compromise the word of God. This is especially true when we decide to live a lifestyle of compromise.  God has provided a way for us to live in the Holy Bible.  He wants us to have life and have it more abundantly. (John 10:10)  When we compromise it detours us off the path God has ordained for us.   In “How Did I Get Into This Mess?, “You Compromised Saith the Lord” you will read how and why we compromise the word of God.  Brenda Johnson Padgitt provides encouragement and walks you through steps to get back on track with your Destiny.

Authors Kamille Padgitt and Brenda Johnson Padgitt To Visit Pat’s Learning Academy

The Jersey Devil Is Not REAL FRT CVRASWIFTT PUBLISHING, LLC authors Kamille Padgitt and Brenda Johnson Padgitt will make author appearances at Pat’s Learning Academy on March 11, 2014. The Learning Academy is located at 3721 W. Camp Wisdom Rd in Dallas, Texas.  Kamille Padgitt has recently published her first children’s book “The Jersey Devil Is Not REAL!” on October 15, 2013.  The Jersey Devil Is Not Real! is a Realistic Fiction Story about a little girl who draws her own conclusion about the legend of the Jersey Devil.  She learns about the information while playing on her favorite website Poptropica. She began to wonder if the Jersey Devil was real. She went to Youtube to find out more information about the actual story.  In the middle of the video she had to exit when her mother called her to eat dinner.  She was still confused about the Jersey Devil.  What do you think will happen next?
